A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents.
As a trusted Notary Public, our duty is to be a witness to your identity, to insure that you are who you claim to be. Also as a Notary Public, we have a trained eye to know if someone is willing to sign without being threatened or intimidated. It is also our duty to insure the signer understands the contents of the document or transaction that he or she will be signing.
In some cases, we will need to put the signer under oath, declaring, under penalty of perjury, that the information contained in the document is true and correct. These kinds of notary signings are aimed mostly towards documents such as Will & Trust, Power Of Attorney, and Deeds.
Our Notary Services include:
Administer oaths or affirmations ( Affidavit)
Take acknowledgements.
Attest to photocopies of certain documents ( cannot notarize a copy of a birth certificate or any other certified public record ).
Solemnize marriage.
Verify vehicle identification numbers ( VIN ).
Certify contents of a safe deposit box.

To have a document notarized, you will need a way to legally identify yourself. Spain's BookKeeping & Tax Services Plus only accepts the following identification:
State Issued Driver's License
State Issued Identification Card
U.S. Passport Issued by the U.S. Dept. of State
U.S. Military ID
State, County, and Local Government ID
Permanent Residence Card (Green Card) issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
